This quote was thought up and followed by Parker, me the blog owner, but that saying is not just a bunch of well thought out words.  No, it means much more, even more than just the category of fishing. That one group of words is the key to unconditional happiness.  You can apply that metaphor to your everyday life.

If you have the mindset that every day is good and important you will feel at least a little better even in hard times. Well you are probably thinking how does this apply to fishing?  Well I will tell you why for all you fisherman out there sometimes fishing seems like it sucks but don’t let yourself think that. Trust me even I have those days sometimes.  You don’t want to rely solely on external things like a big fish to give you your happiness.  Cherish every little thing and let every little thing give you pleasure. That is the key to unconditional happiness.

For all you beginner fisherman out there keep honing your fishing skills. If you keep practicing your fishing skills, one day you will become a pro and if you hone your fishing skills one day you could do great things that you never imagined even in your wildest dreams you could do.  What I want you to take out of this message is if your stuck in a rut in your life or fishing career just treat every day as if it was the best day of your life.  If you have a specific skill you are working on just remember “repetition  is the mother of all skill. ”

How To Cook A Great Largemouth Bass Stew In About 4 Easy Steps

here is a great recipe on how to make the most out of the meat of a largemouth bass for all of you bass fisherman out there 

1. Catch a fairly big largemouth bass make sure that the pond / lake you are fishing at allows in the regulations that you can to keep your fish .

2. Gut the fish wile keeping in mind thc cardinal rule for gutting fish don,t cut the intestines or the meat will become unsanitary and not edible .

3. Fillet each side of the fish then de-scale the slabs of meat after that cut each slab of fish meat into little bite sized chunks and put the chunks away for later.

4. Fill a pot with chicken broth and put the stove on a high boiling temperature. Then throw in your favorite vegetables such as mushrooms , garlic, and mabey some onions. Lastly put in the chunks of fish meat you saved for later and boil the stew for at least 45 minutes or more. Sometimes it can be hard to find great fishing spots and you end up going to same spot over and over even if its not good fishing. Its easy to do that even I do that sometimes so don’t feel bad about it. So the easiest way to find fishing spots is to take advantage of technology. If you have a laptop or desktop computer that will work just fine. But if you don’t, any local library  will have computers you can rent for a given amount of time. Next after you acquire a computer go to google maps look up your home town. You will find tones of lakes you probably never knew about. Then click the print button and print the map of fishing ponds, lakes, and or rivers. Well thats the last boring step to this process the rest is fun because all you have to do is start fishing yay. That is the fun part start fishing and chances are you will find at least some great fishing spots you never knew about.               Happy Fishing

Yesterday I was fishing with carp snag  rigs and I caught within the first five minutes a massive 20 pound , 3 foot long common carp but there was nothing common about this catch I caught this monster carp in my SECRET fishing spot. So about my secret spot it was created by the massive flooding in colorado that you might have heard on the world news. In longmont colorado my hometown their is a group of ponds that goes by the name of GOLDEN PONDS you can look up the directions on google maps because the ponds are not the secret spot. So the last step to get to my secret fishing spot is to locate the first pond by the parking lot. Next walk to the far corner closest to the second pond then bingo you are at my secret fishing spot. just cast a lure or any snag rig and catch the biggest carp that you will ever catch the rest of your life.
